Topic: Safeguarding Our Vulnerable Members: 
          An Interactive Discussion on Sex Abuse Prevention

Presenter: Gail Yost 

     GAIL YOST, M.A. holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Metropolitan State University . Her clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults in individual, group, and family settings.  She has experience treating anxiety issues, grief and loss issues, adoption, and social struggles/peer/workplace conflict/divorce mediation.

     For the past 7 years she was the Director of Discipleship Ministry at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington .  She developed their risk management policies as it pertained to volunteers and has presented sexual abuse prevention classes for volunteers and church leadership.

This workshop will use a ministry planning model that will help you think and see "around the corner"  and proactively plan your ministry.
