The Mission of the Saint Paul Area Council of Churches, a community of Christian congregations, is to build life-giving, just, and anti-racist community for all people in the East Metro Area of the Twin Cities. One of the programs of SPACC, Congregations in Community (CIC) is to equip congregations for community involvement. It is designed to facilitate the involvement of congregations with other congregations and community agencies to empower people to address poverty and racism. CIC is funded by The McKnight Foundation, to increase volunteerism in the community by congregations.
