MINISTRY IN DAILY LIFE - ELCA PAGE
Martin Luther might sit up in his
grave--gladly--to get a better view of what the ELCA is doing with his whole
notion of the "priesthood of all believers."
Luther told us that the washer woman
scrubbing the floor on her knees was as important to the kingdom of God as was
the pastor kneeling at the altar, and that the work of the faithful shoemaker
was to make good shoes, not put crosses on them.
